Important Information about CMSRU Commencement 2022
We are so excited to celebrate CMSRU’s Class of 2022!
CMSRU’s Commencement ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 11 at 2 p.m. on the University Green at Rowan University’s Main Campus in Glassboro, NJ.

The Commencement ceremony will take place at Rowan University’s Main Campus in Glassboro. The address for Rowan University’s Main Campus is: 201 Mullica Hill Rd., Glassboro, NJ 08028.
Graduates and guests are welcome to park at all of the parking lots marked by a blue circle with a “P” in the center (as shown on the map). Please refer to the map when reading the information below to assist you in determining where you would like to park.
If you require accessible parking accommodations for the Commencement ceremonies, you MUST submit a request to the parking office at email@example.com by May 1. Please click here for additional information and eligibility.
Detailed Information for Graduates
Graduating students should arrive at 12:45 p.m. to check in at the Baseball Field. This check-in location is for STUDENT GRADUATES ONLY. Please account for travel time and parking to ensure you arrive no later than 12:45.
A Class Photo will be taken at 1:15 sharp on the steps of Bunce Hall. All students should be checked-in at the baseball field before the photo.
Guests should proceed to Guest Entrances located on the University Green.
Each graduate receives eight guest tickets for the Commencement ceremony. Please be sure that you have shared the tickets with your guests prior to the ceremony. You can download your guest tickets by logging into “Self Service/Banner” via the Rowan University website (www.rowan.edu/selfservice), click the “Student” tab and select “Commencement Attendance Confirmation.” Here, graduates can click “Print/Email Tickets” to download and/or print their tickets. Guests can have their tickets scanned at the three entrances around Bunce Hall/University Green (as indicated on the map). Only graduates and ticketed guests will be permitted on and around the University Green.
Please remember to bring all of your regalia with you to the Commencement ceremony! This includes your gown, hood, cap and tassel. Suggestion: remove everything from the packaging prior to the ceremony to ensure all pieces are included, and determine if anything needs pressing/steaming!
All regalia must be returned immediately following the ceremony to the Barnes and Noble tent that will be located by outside the University Green venue.
There will be a class photo taken on the steps of Bunce Hall in front of the University Green at approximately 1:15 p.m. We ask all students to gather at these steps at that time for the class photo.
Detailed Information for Guests
We strongly encourage all guests to arrive on campus by 1:15 p.m. This will give you enough time to park and walk or shuttle over to the event venue.
To enter the ceremony, guests must present either a printed or electronic version of the ticket provided to them by their graduate. Guests can have their tickets scanned at the three entrances around Bunce Hall/University Green (as indicated on the map). Only graduates and ticketed guests will be permitted on and around the University Green.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, graduates and guests are invited to enjoy a snack and bottled water along Summit Lane, between Laurel and Oak Halls.
Detailed Information for Faculty
If you are a faculty member who will be attending and participating in the Procession/Recession (in regalia), please arrive at the Faculty Robing Tent by 1:15 p.m.
Regalia must be returned immediately following the ceremony. You can drop it off at the Barnes and Noble tent, which will be located outside the event venue.
An email with parking information will be sent to you during the week prior to the ceremony.
If you are a faculty member who wishes to attend but will not be participating in the procession (hasn’t ordered regalia), please contact Sharon Clark, firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, May 1, and we will provide you with Special Guest seating.
The Commencement ceremony will be held rain or shine. In the case of extreme weather or circumstance, we will host a postponed ceremony during the week of May 16.
GradImages is the official photographer at the event and will capture the hooding ceremony for the students. Information for ordering photos will be provided to the Graduates.
