Leadership Community Health

Leadership in Community Health is a required course for all CMSRU fourth year students that provides an enhancement on the service learning experienced in the M1 through M3 years. The service learning activities in this course heightens understanding of community need, broadens student awareness of the impact of social complexities on patient care and biopsychosocial elements, and encourages students to practice solution-based leadership in problem solving. Reflective activities require students to consider their cumulative experience across clinical disciplines and settings, patient populations, geography, and health systems.
