About Me

Cody B. Clinton D.O. is a primary care sports medicine physician within the Orthopedics Department at Cooper University Hospital.  He completed his sports medicine fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and the Rothman Institute, where he was fortunate to help take care of the Philadelphia Phillies.  As a strong advocate of medical education, Dr. Clinton takes pride being an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University where he educates and mentors medical students. He is currently assistant team physician for Rowan University, Haverford College, Rutgers-Camden University, and Rowan College of Gloucester County. He also provides care for numerous high schools within the local area.

Dr. Clinton sees patients ages three years and older at several offices across southern New Jersey, as well as in Newtown Square, PA.  His main goal with every patient visit is to treat each patient with dignity and respect, as if he were giving care to his own family. Dr. Clinton strives to provide accurate diagnoses and he takes pride in suggesting preventative strategies to ensure injuries do not re-occur. In addition to treating common orthopedic injuries, he has specialized training in concussion management, ultrasound guided treatments, hands-on osteopathic manipulative medicine, regenerative therapies such as platelet rich plasma injections, and minimally invasive surgeries for tendinosis.
