About Me

Joan M. Jerrido, DPM is a podiatrist with the Cooper Bone and Joint Institute.  She practices at several locations throughout the Cooper University Health system.    Dr. Jerrido finished her undergraduate degree at La Salle University where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry.  She received her medical degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where she graduated as a member of the Honor Society.  Dr. Jerrido completed her residency here at Cooper University and also served as Chief resident.  She has been active in the podiatric residency program and participates in the education of residents and medical students. 

She is board certified in both Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and is accredited by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.  Dr. Jerrido is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association and maintains certification with the American Board of Wound Healing.  Dr.  Jerrido has been voted one of South Jersey Magazine’s Reader’s choice top physicians.

Dr.  Jerrido has special interest in treating the diabetic patient and high risk patient such as those with vascular disease and neuropathy.  Her practice encompasses all aspect of podiatric care including limb salvage, nail and skin disorders, heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, neuromas, arthritis, injuries, etc.
