CMSRU Library
The CMSRU Library is part of the Rowan University Libraries system and serves the faculty, staff, medical residents and students of both CMSRU and Cooper University Health Care. To ensure broad access, the library collection is composed mainly of electronic resources – e-books as well as online journals and databases. A small print collection of approximately 3,000 books is available at the hospital library location.
The Library also maintains two special collections. The Anti-Racism Library Collection was created in partnership with the CMSRU Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society; this collection focuses on topics related to race, racism and social justice. In support of the Library’s work with the Office of Student Affairs on a subject guide for wellness resources, the library also maintains a special collection of narrative medicine and physician-authored print books intended to contribute to wellness.
