Community Outreach

Outreach to the Camden community aids in driving engagement, satisfaction, and communication within the Cooper University Health Care and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU). Programs such as MEDacademy and MEDacademy Masters offer excelling high school students interested in furthering medical education opportunities to learn and work with faculty and the Sim Center. The Sim Center and staff are active in the education to support the American College of Surgeons National “Stop the Bleed” initiative. Training over 5,000 individuals to date in hemorrhage control techniques.
