Student Health Services

Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) provides primary medical healthcare services to all CMSRU-registered students in a confidential, professional and sensitive manner. CMSRU Student Health Services are provided in two locations:

• Primary Location: CMSRU Student Health Center (SHC), Sheridan Pavilion - Three Cooper Plaza, Suite 104, Camden, NJ, 08103. Physicians at this site are available for scheduled appointments, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. 
• Cooper Care Alliance, 1210 Brace Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Physicians at this site are available for scheduled appointments, Sunday – Saturday, 8 AM-8 PM.
• Students with emergency and after-hours medical needs will be seen in Cooper University Hospital Emergency Department, One Cooper Plaza, Camden, NJ, 08103.

*A student may also designate a physician from Student Health Services as their primary care provider.

CMSRU requires all students to be covered by medical and disability insurance. Students may purchase a student health insurance policy, available through Rowan University or document that they have equivalent coverage through another plan. All students are provided with disability insurance through a CMSRU-sponsored policy, paid through CMSRU Student Fees.

*Students may complete a waiver with documentation of disability coverage through another plan.
