U.S. News & World Report recognizes Cooper Medical School of Rowan University among 2025 Best Medical Schools
For the second year in a row, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) has earned high ratings among the 2025 Best Medical Schools for Primary Care and Research by U.S. News & World Report.
"I’m proud to announce that, once again, CMSRU has been recognized with a Tier 2 rating in Primary Care and Tier 3 in Research -- the highest Primary Care ranking of any medical school in New Jersey and the New York Metropolitan area," said Annette C. Reboli, MD, dean of CMSRU. "This recognition reaffirms our commitment to excellence in education, research, and service, and highlights our role in addressing the critical need for primary care physicians in New Jersey and across the nation."
This is the second year that U.S. News & World Report has used a tiered rating system. Only schools in Tier 1 and Tier 2 are eligible to display the Best Medical Schools award badges in recognition of their excellence.
