Annual “Love What You Do” networking event for Valentine's Day
February 14th, 2024
Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) students uniquely celebrated Valentine's Day, gathering for the annual "Love What You Do" networking and career advising event. The event, aimed at fostering connections and career exploration, allowed first, second, and third-year students to engage with Cooper Residency Program Directors across various specialties.
Over breakfast, nearly 100 students mingled with residency program representatives, delving into discussions about why they love their respective fields. This open forum allowed students to ask questions and gain insights directly from specialists, expanding their understanding beyond traditional curricular activities and clerkship rotations.
In addition to providing an outstanding networking opportunity, this event was a platform for students to gather valuable information and perspectives that could shape their future career paths. As CMSRU continues to prioritize student professional development, initiatives like the "Love What You Do" event play a crucial role in enriching the educational experience and preparing future physicians for success.
