Amit Joshi, MD, FACS, professor of surgery and associate dean for graduate medical education, was recently inducted as an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd).Dr. Joshi awarded in Edinburgh

The Fellowship was conferred during a formal ceremony in Edinburgh by Professor Farhat V.N. Din, Bowel Cancer UK–Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh Chair of Colorectal Cancer Research at the University of Edinburgh and a member of the RCSEd Council. Founded in 1505, the RCSEd is the world’s oldest surgical institution, recognized internationally for its leadership in surgical education, training, and innovation.

This prestigious honor recognizes Dr. Joshi’s outstanding contributions to surgical education, leadership, and innovation. His induction into this historic institution reflects his deep commitment to advancing the field of surgery and mentoring the next generation of surgical professionals.
